True to the community spirit of village life, High Legh boasts several sports clubs including High Legh Cricket Club who play at Arley the home of Lord and Lady Ashbrook, the extremely sociable and friendly High Legh Tennis Club, and High Legh Park Golf Course, a 27 hole course designed by Mark James.

The four star Cottons Hotel and Spa in nearby Knutsford also offers some of the finest facilities in the area, as does the exclusive Mere Golf and Country Club, including 7 spa treatment rooms and extensive wet and dry sports areas.

 

The village school, High Legh Primary, was described by OFSTED as ’a good school where the pupils are very happy, safe and secure and their behaviour and personal development are first class’.
